Magical Girl Sandbox

In honor of the Walpurgisnacht Rising movie being released today (which I haven't seen yet due to no one announcing a release date for the US!) and me A5-ing my MadoKami, here's another set of Magia Exedra characters!



Today, it's the main cast of Magia Record, Oriko Magica, and Scene 0, as well as a few witches!



Huge shout out to PowerPCInside! I used their conversion of Tsuruno as a base for mine (just reduced polys and edited the textures honestly) and also stole their Newsea Coco and LAMZ Lovely Angel hair conversions for Tsuruno and Rena. All the other body meshes are converted directly from Magia Exedra and The Models Resource (and all the other hair credits will be listed in the downloads boxes).



Homura gets a fancy new holdable bow from the Wraith arc, and Nagisa gets a recolor of my previous mesh for her Scene 0 appearance. And my girl Mabayu is here too!



Like the official art, the Oriko units are... eh... a bit funky. I tried to reduced clipping and weird polys where I could though. I can't stop Kirika from putting her claws in things she shouldn't, but honestly that's in character for her.



More objects! I converted some witches and familiars from The Battle Pentagram and Portable, and I also recolored my Kyuubey cat collar for A-Q! Polycounts: Adelbert small: 52, Adelbert large: 378, Anthony: 938, Gertrude: 1544, Pyotr: 886, Polina: 1480, Wraith: 562, A-Q: 897. All but A-Q can be found in Deco/Sculptures.



Oh, and everybody now has a weapon too, with a dedicated accessory box for the Mikazuki Villa gals! Oriko's weapon is not in a holdable form, it's just a recolor of my planet orb objects.

It's got a ballroom for showing off all the latest dance moves, a stable for a sweet horse (not included), a greenhouse for growing legal substances, and a funky pool! Polly Pocket's Nursery School (2B, 2BR)
(reference: this house I had as a kid)
A wonderful little cottage, converted into a nursery school/daycare for the local kiddies! All sorts of fun toys and games can be found on the grounds. The yard also includes a "Wendy House" (a little clubhouse for kids ONLY!). Enjoy nurturing the next generation of your community, and don't forget to pass out earplugs to your neighbors!

Mildly Medieval presents: Row Houses! In three flavors!
(based on houses from The Elder Scrolls: Blades)

These houses can be used to increase the population in your town. This increases the amount of vendors in your town, which also means you can level up your town. Leveling up your town means you can buy more materials, which you use to upgrade your weapons. You'll of course then use your upgraded weapons to go fight enemies for more building supplies to build more row houses.
Available in: Timber, Stone, and Castle.

Toy Time!!




The fun thing about Morrowind is that the models are just at the right level of detail to make good Sims 2 toys! I converted Dagoth Ur, Azura, Vivec, Hircine, and Karstaag into the usual playable toys. I also made Azura into a display doll, since she has a pretty dress. I also converted Mehrunes Dagon and Jyggalag from Oblivion, but I had to reduce the poly count on them a bit. Then I converted Drizzt Do'Urden from Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance because Astarion told me to. Finally, I converted an Ariel and Eric for my Disney collection from Kingdom Hearts II since they were missing.
Playable toys can be found in misc/children for §10 as usual, while Azura's display doll can be found under deco/sculpture for §150.

It's getting to the point where I have so many dang files I'm getting overwhelmed and stressed about it, so I'm doing a little housekeeping! I deleted all of the previous Maxis-Match hair recolors I've done (specific colors for characters are still there) with the expectation that I'll be redoing some of them in CoHT colors in the future. I also regrouped all the brows and facial hairs into folders with all of their recolors (I unbinned the male beards too), and JUST their recolors (and meshes, if needed), which makes it easier to find stuff. Oh, and Timebomb has been upgraded to a permanent recolor, in with the rest of the CoHT colors. 

I SHOULD have updated all applicable links from my past journal entries, but if anything is borked, please let me know (because I now have notifications on and can see messages again). 

So with that said...


MOAR BEARDS

The Santa Beard now has straight textures, the Father Time Beard has full colors, the BV Beard is less scraggly (thanks to Lifa and their Beardly Hairp Derp), and the full, goatee, and Van Dyke beards have afro textures. Everything is in my usual colors plus Timebomb, family-ized, binned, and for male and female sims.

Continuing the theme of being overwhelmed by files:



I Banished everything Maxis. No more files in Bodyshop or CAS. It's all GONE.
There's still some stuff that pops up if you randomize sims, but with enough new CC that shouldn't be too much a problem hopefully.

Everything was mashed together using hiders from Jordi, Ambular, Marja, Aquilegia, Hat, and Joinmobile, and sorted into a file for each Bodyshop section. Note that some of the accessories and the makeup are hidden from CAS/BS by setting their category/ages to 0, which means they will not show up on already created sims. This won't break/corrupt anything, you just will have to apply different makeup back if you want it. On the flip side, already created sims will still have any hidden clothing and hairs, and everything can be viewed again by going into CAS debug mode. 

Feel free to slice and dice these files for themed hiders or specific hiders for your own game!

I was delighted when I came back from hiatus and discovered BillieLith had released their bird sims! I've been wanting a feather skin for AGES.



I recolored every feather accessory I could find, made some skins and overlays and makeup, and discovered that making face archetypes is hard! But anyway, here's the deets:



 
These feather skins come in 21 colors, which are recolors and edits of BillieLith's Brave Birds skin. All are genetized, but not townified.

There are three types of face feather makeup (around the eyes, brows, and full face), and two types of feather overlays (head hood and back/arm). The brows and around eyes sets are from BillieLith's skins again, and all the feather textures are as well. The makeup can be found in full face makeup (and are completely layerable) and the overlays are in an overlay box. All are available in the same 21 colors for all ages and genders.

There are also 18 beaks, also recolored from BillieLith's skins. There are 9 colors for each type, and two types. They are also found in full face makeup also for all ages and genders.

I've also returned to the Argonian hair I converted from Lady-Moriel for 1.2k polys. I added enough colors to match my skins and also updated the UV mapping on the heads (redownload the originals below). I also made a separate hair that's just the bald sim head with a round "hair" texture on it (you can see it on the orange and black bird above).

Ok so, the faces. I turned the faces from BillieLith's Amon/Baba and Laurie/Foy into face archetypes. I made a few small changes and made the Pu/Cu faces useable (mostly). You, uh, still might not want to breed the birds though. The way the faces combine in game doesn't give good results. Not much anyone can do about that, it's just how the code works. They also shouldn't show up for random sims.

The accessories! I remeshed SynapticSim's Harpy head and wings and recolored their alpha wings (again). The wings are now split up into separate meshes for the wings and the tail. The harpy wings are 1697 polys, the alpha wings are 1465 polys, the tail is 1978 polys, and the head feathers are 1315 polys. Meanwhie, the wing-ear-ace_01 accessory (by deditalsheep I think) is 249 polys and Myos' muffler accessory is 564 polys, and both have textures from BillieLith. Ran417's wing headdress is 5911 polys. All of the accessories are for Pu-Eu, except the tail which is Cu-Eu and should have the blue flashing problem fixed. Everything also matches the 21 skin colors.

I reworked some of Remi's edits of Leh's eyes (again) to make them more bird-like. 19 colors; genetizied but not townified; available in eyes, contacts, hetrochromia accessories, and a hetrochromia accessory box.

And finally, some "clothing" for your bird sims. I made some slight edits to Syn's Harpy body meshes and converted them to all ages (including Eu!). They are all around 4k polys each and also come in 21 colors.

I also converted some full face makeup from BG3! Most of these are from me taking screenshots in the character creator and editing them a bunch until they fit Sims faces, but a few are conversions from Satterly's TS4 BG3 makeup. They come in Depth Charge, Detonator, Flashpowder, Fulminant, Hazardous, Timebomb, and TNT and are for Pu through Eu.

More BG3 overlays in a box and full face makeup, this time for specific characters! Halsin's tattoo was converted from Lady-Moriel's TS4 Halsin and Karlach's tattoos were made using BlackSalander's reference images, everything else was converted by me from either screenshots or my limited adventures into the BG3 texture files. Everything except for Shadowheart's overlays are for Tu-Eu, while Shadowheart's are for Cu-Eu. Everything comes in only the colors shown in the swatches.

I'm back on my fantasy BS today, and I'm bringing you a huge dump of Baldur's Gate and Elder Scrolls themed CC for specific species!

Species 1: Tieflings



A whopping 26 skin colors for DnD Tieflings! I used the color scheme I saw in the character creator of BG3 to decide on the colors. I used a conversion of Lady-Moriel's TS4 Tiefling skins to create these.
They also have matching tails! I recolored Jacky93Sims' 4t2 Tiefling tails in the same colors (2007 polys, all ages).







And then there's the horns! Wyll's/the Curved Ram horns are a conversion from BellaSim's Ram Thick horns, Mizora's horns are a conversion from BellaSim's Gemsbok horns, Karlach's horns are recolored from Powerpcinside, Raphael's horns are edited from Sim0727's horns, and all the remaining horns are converted from Courierseis. All ages and genders, each horn comes in six colors, except the Drake horns, which have an additional 3 colors with gold inlay.

Species 2: Githyanki/Githzeri



The Gith have 10 new skins in brown and green tones. Their patterns are modified from Reevaly's overlay spots.

Species 3 and 4: Aasimar and Cambions


Aasimar have a new overlay box with 12 different vein colors to choose from! The body veins are modified from Mooncatcher's Sylvan veins, while the faces are stolen directly from BG3. All ages and genders.







I edited Lola's angel halo to make an appropriate halo for the Aasimar, and then recolored SynapticSim's wings as well. I also recolored Syn's wings to give sims multiple wings for a more Biblically-accurate angel sort of look in my original wing palette (minus Afterburner). The fun thing about the new colors is that I played around with the TXMT settings a lot -- so the glowy accessories really glow and the shiny accessories are very shiny! 1155 polys for the halo, 1465 for the wings, all ages and genders.




These are my edited q3tbo demon wings, but with smooth textures instead of scaly. All ages and genders, 3045 polys.

Species 5: Mindflayers



Another converted accessory from Jacky93Sims, a mindflayer head! I edited the mesh on this one to animate it and keep it flush with the sims' necks. I also converted it for toddlers! The textures match my skin colors of the same name. 4502 polys, all ages and genders, will consume brains.

Species 6+: Elves and Orcs




Just some new colors for Lilith Honey Honey skins, 8 using mashup of Pooklet's colors, 2 using some DigitalAngels colors, and 1 using Iakoa's Sky's Secret. Oh, and one mashup skin for Vivec himself.






Horn acc: I guess TES Wood Elves have horns sometimes? So here's GenZoi's nubby horns for 121 polys in 9 colors matching some appropriate skins. Also there's 5 recolors of Trapping's deer horns for 985 polys. All ages and genders for these as well.







Here's some CC I've wanted to make for a while but didn't get around to it: Teeth! The meshed fangs are edited from SewerSim's gnarly teeth, while the rabbit teeth were made by me. Each set of meshed teeth comes in 4 colors. 93 polys for the fangs, 9 polys for the rabbit teeth, Cu-Eu.
The tooth makeups add some grossness to your fantasy sims (nobody's invented toothpaste yet) and come in 4 colors of regular teeth and 3 colors of sharp teeth. Cu-Eu.

Bonus Overlays!




An Artificer overlay box made from bits and pieces of Sherahbim's robot skin, for sims missing some fleshy bits! Each separated limb comes in brass and tin. I also slapped Sherahbim's robot eyes on Nopke's hetrochromia eye accessory as well. 9 polys for the eye, everything is for all ages and genders.











Here's TWO overlay boxes, one for colorful freckles and one for colorful birthmarks. The body freckles are from themeasureofasim, while the face freckles are from Lilith's freckle skins. The birthmarks are again pulled from Genensims skins textures. All overlays are for body only and all ages and genders. The associated face makeups can be found under full-face.





Another overlay box, this time a collection of some magical skin details I found: Aquilegia's Vines, Midge's deer pants, Hat's Little Growth, and Rockethorse's witches. I made the vines in 7 colors, and recolred each witch overlay 2 additional times. Available for all ages and genders.




Finally, a small overlay box for elder sims. I converted Saurussims' body wrinkles for TS2 and poked at them a bit until they looked the way I wanted. For Au-Eu.
