Massive Mildly Medieval Medley!
Part 5: ~It's the Beards~

I don't know about you, but my poor dwarven lady sims have been suffering from a severe lack of facial hair! I decided to fix that with a few new meshes...

So yeah, that's a total of 9 meshed beards from Maxis (4 standard Base Game, 1 re-alphaed beard from BG, 3 Bon Voyage, 2 Holiday), 6 unmeshed from Maxis, 4 stubbles from Maxis, 10 unmeshed from Phaenoh's Stache Blast, 2 meshed from Piesims, 1 meshed from Saathei, and 1 meshed from Syn. Plus converted meshed wispy brows from BV, grouped with the EP files! All the unmeshed beards are for teen through elder in my usual colors** and family groupings with black linked to grey. Meshed beards and brows are similar, but for adults and elders only. All meshes should be pretty much the same as the male beards (technical note: I built the meshes as glasses and then recategorized them, so there's a "lens" in there but it's like two polys).

Also there's a bonus accessory - a fake mustache! This mustache is found under glasses and is for all ages and genders with one color. It's pretty much just the mesh from the handlebar mustache so the polycount should be about the same (see technical note above). I find it amusing, I hope your sims do too!

**Just a reminder that I'm now using the Amon color from DigitalAngels for my dark family black hair color instead of Flashpowder.

And then to make sure I have all my bases covered -- I recolored ALL of my facial hair in Timebomb. Including all of the new female beards above! Now your Underdark denizens can have properly colored facial hair too. So you get all of those beards plus all eyebrows (minus my first set of brows because I already have them there) in custom binned white Timebomb for all ages.

Bots and Spots II: Even Spottier!

I'm happy to report that I have beaten my first run of Baldur's Gate III. Unfortunately, I have now started a second (evil this time!) run and it keeps distracting me from the sims. I still got a bunch of random stuff done though!

First order of business: Skell's Pride Flag accessories added to an accessory box. I made them available for both hands and added three extra flags (progress, gay stripes, and lesbian stripes). Everything is available for teens through adults, and 111 polys. I also made the flags into objects, with all the same recolors as the accessories for §2 under Deco/Sculpture.

More acc boxes, featuring eye accessories! SimNopke made hetrochromia eyes that pull their textures from Maxis, or from your default skins/eyes if you have them. I just assembled everything into accessory boxes: one for the normal five eyes and one for supernatural eyes. I added on eyes that pull your default mannequin eyes too, but other than that the packages are SimNopke's so they will conflict with the originals if you have them. Then I also copied an idea from MDP and made a set of 10 glowing irises using the same eye mesh (~~also Sim!Astarion made me do it~~). All of these are available for toddlers through adults with 9 polys. The accessory boxes are found under Misc/Misc for §1.

Now onto a project that I've wanted to do for a while but was too intimidated: body overlays!

The Hotaru bot overlay uses textures I drew before for the standalone skin and is for toddlers through adults.
The leggings are all Maxis textures, with the white tights, jeggings, and magician tights for children and older; the fishnets, bella stockings, and thigh socks for teens and older, and the garters for adults only.
The vitiligo/birthmarks were pulled from Genensims skins textures and are body only for toddlers through adults, although I also made full-face makeup to match.
Freckles are stolen from themeasureofasim, but have their colors adjusted to match my previous full-face freckles and are toddler through adult.
The alien markings box contains both birthmarks in my alien NitroMail color and recolored freckles for toddlers through adults again, with recolored face makeup separated as full face makeup.
The body hair is recolored versions of Inky-Fish's and nennafromyoutube's body hair overlays. Nothing is gender-locked (#LetLadiesBeHairy2024) or correlated. The grey and white colors are for adults and elders only, with all the other colors available for teens as well.
All overlay boxes are §1 and found under Misc/Misc.

More fun with bodyshapes:

I never use the dumb coco-bra from the base game, so I replaced the mesh with a nice bandeau top instead. I also edited a few colors here and there and combined it all into a default replacement package for 3240 polys. Then I converted it for male sims with 2944 polys (it's cc, not binned), and threw some textures on a fakepeeps mesh to match for kids as well with 2862 polys. AND THEN I converted everything to bodyshapes. All body shapes are reposited to the maxis meshes to save space. Everything comes in my normal shapes: Androgyny, Fat Fam, Athletic Girl, and Lean Bodybuilder for teens through elders, and Momma Lisa, Heavy Male, Bodybuilder, and Bodybuilder Girl for
adults only.

Here's bodyshape conversions for the Bon Voyage yukatas and Holiday Stuff kimonos and hakamas. Again, comes in my usual shapes, although I didn't bother with androgyny for males as it wasn't significantly different from the Maxis mesh. Everything is reposited again and BSOK'd and is the same amount of polys as the original outfits.

I stole the alphas for these from Ja at GoS and slapped my brow textures on and recolored everything. Everything comes in my usual colors and is binned.

I was never very satisfied with the hairs I made or recolored for CereCere, VesVes, Palla Palla, Sailor Uranus, Tuxedo Mask, Eudial, Kakyuu, Dr. Tomoe, or Saban's Sailor Moon. I added better bangs to the Amazoness hairs, completely redid Eudial's hair (based on a RoseSims mesh now), and fixed the bone assignments on Kakyuu's hair (her hair isn't included on this page, find it on the Kinmoku Senshi page). Uranus' hair is now Raon 64, Tuxedo Mask's is Newsea Bacchus, Saban Moon's is Myos F15, and Dr. Tomoe's is Newsea Simple Life.

Hair recolors:

Grey toga fuku for Sailor Pluto, red hair for Sailor Pluto, orange hair for Sailor Venus, green hair for Sailor Jupiter, light blue hair for Sailor Mercury, dark blue hair for Sailor Uranus, and white hair and a white toga fuku for Sailor Saturn

I also recolored some exisiting hairs. I added a rainbow "oil slick" to my Full Moon, Cosmos Moon, and Guardian Cosmos Timebomb hairs. I also recolored Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter's hairs to bright colors and Saturn's to white. I gave Sailors Pluto and Saturn each a Silver Millenium fuku as well (I have like, so many headcanons for the SilMil).

And another Disney Princess:

Pocahontas is the only Disney Princess to be based on a real person, and as luck would have it, the only Disney Princess to have been kidnapped by my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-uncle (awkward!). Obviously her depiction isn't accurate to the real-life version at all, but I think her dress is pretty. I edited a mesh from SavantInamorata on ModTheSims, and recolored rented-space's Straight Long Pull Back 3t2 hair. I also made a doll from a Disney Magic Kingdoms mesh found under Misc/Children for 1726 polys and §10.

Last thing!

I found Candeloro and Ophelia models from the PMMM Portable game, so I converted those to objects as well. Candeloro is 1436 polys and Ophelia is 2562 polys, both can be found under Deco/Sculptures.

Random Project Dump: I lost count of which one this is

I keep starting random projects and then they keep piling up until I'm left with a giant stack of them to post when I really should be doing something for the final season of Sailor Moon Crystal. So yeah, I need to start on that, so here's everything that I managed to get done.

Pt 1: Clothes

New defaults for Maxis meshes

All standard underwear, sleepwear, and swimwear Maxis meshes, converted to the bodyshapes I use (LBB, BB, BBG, AG, Andro, Momma Lisa, Heavy Male, and Fat Family) for teen, adults, and elders (though like before, BB, BBG, Momma Lisa, and Heavy Male are adults only) and reposited. I've done the Uf and Um undies on the naked mesh in a previous stuff dump. I used some pre-morphed meshes from Melodie9 and Consort as well.

Pretty much all the meshes are direct conversions of Maxis, save Af Slob, Ef Wetsuit, Tm Rodger Tattoo Trunks, Af Lacy Lingerie, and Tf Drawstring PJs. I'm using Migamoo's default Tm Trunks and Af Lingerie to remove the shoes, so I'd recommend grabbing those for the texture replacing (otherwise my new files will look strange).

I removed the shoes of the mesh and textures for the Tf PJs and made that its own default, which again might be a good idea to have. Same with Af Slob - I used Rudhira's mesh replacement that removes the slippers and fixed the fatmorph and added the socks from the male texture (also, the texture in this default is originally from Nichelle, who made it less grungy).

The Ef Wetsuit default is just a mesh default for the correct bodyshape, so that one is more optional.

Also, I did not do Af Slip for Momma Lisa, since Nixed Sims did that previously.

I wanted more brow textures, so I stole a whole bunch from Zoej and slapped some Remi textures and Pooklet colors on them. I also did the same for the textures (not the mesh, only textures) for the Maxis unreleased Um Bushy brows. 20 colors for each, greys linked to black, binned.

I recolored and retextured all of Phaenoh's Stache Blast, plus Piesims' Grandpa and Long beards, Saathei's Bigfoot Beard, and Synaptic Sim's Face Fur. Plus I hacked off the mustache stubble from Alfred Askews's fuzzy facial hair to make mustache stubble for all genders! Everything comes in 20 colors each and is binned.

Also, I made a default of the Bigfoot hair while I was there. And another default of Am Beard Devil plus the pinned beards, this one removes the top mustache part.

Pt 4: Skyrim-Style Eyes

I played around with Remi's eye textures and my previously edited versions of them and came up with some Elder Scrolls eyes. I really wanted to make some Dunmer. For... research purposes.

You get three eyes each for Altmer, Bosmer, Orcs/Orsimer, Khajiit, and Argonians. Plus four eyes for Dunmer (couldn't pass up the Karliah purple), and one for Snow Elf Falmer, AND one for reanimated characters. Everything is available as genetic eyes and contacts.

Default Hair

Standard, non-hat hairs and facial hair retextured using Remi's and Maxboy's textures, and colors in my usual hair set. Mirror hairs included. Ufbun and Ufdeco have mesh edits that remove the chopsticks and flowers. Ufpixie and Ufshortheadband have alpha edits from Shinasims and Treeag respectively. Pfmob has Fanseelamb's texture fix included.

I've been playing around with making hair color families, and realized I could apply it to the mirror hairs! This means that if you have a Sim with mirror hair, they should pass on their hair genetics! There's two files, one for base game mirror hairs, and another for Nightlife/University hairs.

Bots and Spots!

Another random large project dump: this time themed around some makeup and servo cc.
You get: default full face makeup, custom full face makeup, lip tints, custom freckles, freckle skins, a new Sailor Saturn skin, servo defaults and skins, eyebrow defaults and customs, and glasses defaults.

Let's start with the makeup...
I finally got around to making defaults of all the full face makeups in the game! I also played around with bins/layers in the XMOLs, so things are a lot more useful now.

For the base game: Mime has been replaced with a light white face powder; Tamoko, Antiglare, Butterfly, and Camo with some nose freckles; Tiger, Pink wings, Fancy, and Flower with full face freckles; Rainbow with some pride flag cheek makeup; Superhero and Villain with black and red bindis respectively; and Zombie with my sharp tooth overlay. Burglar has not had its texture replaced, but I did fix the layering so it covers up eyebrows/other makeup now. Similarly, all the other makeup has been tweaked to make it multi-wearable (except for the two bindis with each other). The bindis and white powder are for children and up, the rest is for all ages. The textures for the freckles were taken from Lilith's freckle skins.

For the expansion packs: the Stadium makeup has been unlocked and defaulted with some Japanese-style makeups - Decora, Ganguro, Geisha, Goth, and Visual Kei; the Glam makeups were defaulted with some beauty marks; Whiskers with my werewolf nose; Santa with a cold-weather face, and Clown with... another clown. The Japanese makeups were made using bits and pieces of makeup I've made before, plus some of Voeille's eyelashes. They are multi-wearable with other makeup, but not each other or the clown face. The beauty marks, nose, and cold weather face should be wearable with everything. The Japanese makeups are for teen and up, everything else is for all ages.

For the aging makeups: I replaced the Fortuneteller face with my light thirds wrinkles, and Crumplebottom's face with my dark half wrinkles. Both are available for adults and elders. Then I unlocked the three maxis aging faces (there's a fourth even scarier texture, but it didn't have an XMOL), but didn't default them. They are available for elders only and are multi-wearable.

All the makeup I haven't released before is also available in custom form!

Next, I made lip tints! I've always liked SleepyTabby's lip kit, so I decided to make my own with my previous lipstick textures. I made 12 different colors, plus made them all multi-wearable. You can use them by themselves as lip gloss, or on another lip texture to make the perfect lip shade! The Warmth and Moonlit Night shades are available for all ages, everything else is for children and up.

Now for the skins

Initially I was thinking of making a Hotaru-robot themed skin for my servo default, but it didn't look great, so I dropped it and made it a custom skin. I added some wire/metal looking bits to the joints on the skin textures as well as to the back and over the heart. Like in the manga, Hotaru's cyborg bits, everything mechanical is covered by long sleeves and pants/tights/skirts so it looks like a normal skin otherwise. I only made one color on a Snow White's Coffin Lilith skin. The metal bits show up for all ages and genders, and the skin is barbie below the waist but not above it. The skin is geneticized at 0.01, but is not townified.

I also snagged Lilith's freckle skins and modified them a bit. Like my other versions of their skins, I changed the teeth to Maxis teeth and added wrinkles to the elder face. I also made the scalps very subtly freckly. They come in 9 of Trapping's colors and are geneticized the same as my Lilith Original skins, and come in both townified and non-townified versions. I also made a version that is correlated to red hair (S1=Pale Dust, S2= Warmth, S3=Olive, S4= Moonlit Night). Note that this download ONLY includes the red hair skins, and not the others that you would need.

Note 8/29/2021: Sims born or created BEFORE you added correlated skins to your game may have a mismatched head color! You can fix this by changing your sims appearances by adding or switching out a full face makeup (you can always remove the full face makeup in a later change appearance session and it will still be fixed).

Finally, I made the last supernatural skin default left: Servos! I used my Mailbomb recolor of Lilith's skin and placed it on Amaryll's androgyny Servo mesh. I also added Ephemera's ball joints to the skin, and eyes from my Remi/Leh eyeset. The default comes in either a shiny or matte version (thanks to Almighty Hat for that!). Queen of France's green orb removal mod is included with the files. There is also an uninitialized servo mesh default (originally from Gambit's Obsession), with replaced textures in shiny and matte versions as well. Super natural face sets are included, but there is no difference between the genders. No mesh replacement for the formal clothes, but maybe I'll do that in the future.

I also made custom Servo skins in both matte and shiny. The skins are completely barbie and have no elder face (bots don't age!). These skins are not geneticized or townified.

Next up: BROWS FOR DAYS
I've been putting off my brow defaults for TOO LONG. It was way easier than I expected. I combined a bit of Remi's V2 hair texture with the original Maxis textures and poked it until it looked presentable. I then recolored it in every hair color action I have. They'll match the hair system I want to use, plus they look a lot less crunchy than Maxis stuff. Defaults come in Bushy, Tweased, and Combed, and with Dynamite, Depth Charge, Molotov, my Diatomite, and Mailbomb for the black, brown, red, blonde, and grey colors respectively. While I was there, I used Nopke's Wispy eyebrow textures to default the Um Wispy eyebrows.

I realized the Wispy textures looked semi-alright without the mesh, so I made versions of those too. Two bonus brows: a nice unibrow and some lovely drawn on brows. The Bushy, Tweased, and Combed custom brows come in 47 colors each, both natural and unnatural colors. The Wispy custom and Unibrows come in 21 natural colors. The Drawn brows come in Dynamite, Brisance, Molotov, Diatomite, Mailbomb, and Pipebomb, and use alphas from RenSim's FemFem brows. The Drawn Brows are available for teen and up, while all the other brows are for all ages.

Finally: Glasses!
I defaulted a few sunglasses with some of Tamo's converted glasses to make them a bit more usable. I honestly never use sunglasses in my game anyway...

Hip glasses have been replaced with Buddy Holly glasses, More Hip with Half Rim, Even More Hip with Oval, and Designer (both male and female) with pinketamine's conversions of Tamo's Cat Eye. The new Hip glasses come in black, the More Hip in black and silver, and the Even More Hip in black, grey, and tortoiseshell. The unfortunate thing about the Even More Hip glasses is that there's only three frames for all five glasses colors -- three glasses share the same frame color, but different lenses. I have no idea how to fix this, so I just kept these two glasses as sunglasses -- one with grey lenses and one brown lenses. The Cat Eye frames come in three colors for ladies (black, red, and white), but four for lads (same three, plus blue). The black color is from pinketamine, while the others are from snapun. I also swapped out the textured "lenses" on the Rave Goggles for actual glass. No mesh default (The mesh deforms with the face so it wouldn't work anyway...).
