Sims 2: Hair Pinning Project

As part of my Catalogue of Human Types project, I decided to expand the amount of hair colors I use in game. I pinned three extra shades per hair color to the hair itself, so your sims can have more variety in their hair colors!
Hairs pinned to the French Braid in Brown
I also familizied the hairs, so the tones will link to one other tone per hair color, including grey. The black hair color files also include the greys.
Here's a list of the families:
Family 1 (Light): Shrapnel, Safety Fuse, Comburent, Primer, and Timebomb
Family 2 (Medium): Landmine, Fission, Pyrotechnic, Volatile, and Smokebomb
Family 3 (Dark):Flashpowder Amon (as of 6/6/25), Depth Charge, Explosive, Incendiary, and Pipebomb
Hair colors and family groups. Columns from left: Family 1 (Light), Family 2 (Medium), Maxis Match Family/Default, Family 3 (Dark). Diatomite is my own blonde color, while Smokebomb is from hat-plays-sims.

I used a lot of DeeDee-Sims' knowledge for this project, as pinning hairs is very time consuming and confusing. On that note, feel free to use my files for your own projects if you want!
Project updates:
June 6th, 2025: I return! I've updated the pinned facial hair so that Flashpowder is now Amon. And I've decided to restart the hair part of the project, but in a different way. Stay tuned!
March 11th, 2023: I've completed the rest of the beards, plus added Base Game brows and BV brows. I also did PuSimple, PuPuff, PuBaldSwirl, PfMob, and PmBaldStubble.
March 8th, 2023: I found the facial hair files! They need some processing, but I did the Holiday ones today. I also added UfShortSlick, UfShortTuckin, and UfMessy.
March 7th, 2023: This is a project I've been working on for about 2 months now... and I'm still not done. Not even close!
I've hit a bit of an automation roadblock, so I've decided to start posting the files to SimFileShare as I get them done. So far there is one (1) file in the folder: UfFrenchBraid.
I would upload the pinned beards as well, but SOMEONE went and deleted those files when they were moving files onto their new computer (it was me. I deleted the files. I am a fool).
