Hi there! I haven't been able to reproduce this error in my game, so the issue may be a conflicting piece of cc. The info about the smooth bodies being the problem makes me think it might be a default pet eye file (prior to my separate pet eye default mod, pet eye defaults had to be made on the texture for the smooth pet bodies).
